I still remember telling him in ‘05 that if he busted his tail, he was going to make the team (Avs), but not only make it, accel at the NHL level. He shrugged it off (as he always does) and said that (i’m paraphrasing) all he can do is “play hockey and have fun doing it, and hope that the coaches like his style.” I wish I had his attitude.

Oh and on the $6.6 mil a year, that’s a great deal when you consider what it would cost to acquire Paul on the open market, or through trades.
